Meyer is something special. If you take the time to try and really try, he will go out of his way to help you. If you don't show up to class or TAKE SHORTCUTS he will get "real" with you. Also make sure you group members are hard workers and usually aren't your best of friends. Also if you talk to him he will help and be more reasonable.

Meyer always seems to go the extra mile to ensure his students understand the course material, and he also helps you to learn from your mistakes. He enforces real-world coding standards and techniques to better prepare you for beginning your career. Overall, I highly recommend this professor.

I've had Tanuan for 4 different courses. He is an enthusiastic lecturer and makes sure you know you can ask him for help or clarification. He posts assignments early so you can work ahead if you want to, and encourages you to finish early. He is a diligent marker, so don't try and slide anything past him on assignments.

Every his class is a challenge. But the assignments instructions are very neat and clear. He likes to give a hint for a help. He is a talented teacher, no doubts!

Meyer has been advising our systems project and performed poorly. Very judgmental, not helpful and incompetent. Didn't want to solve any internal team problems, was manipulative with his power. Any coding questions deferred to the teaching professor. He appears quite nice in person, but in fact he is not.

Absolutely unable to accept that students are individuals with different challenges. Because some students hand work in 2 week in advance he expects all the class can. No compassion for personal and other challenges a student has. Rules are set in stone and he's too rigid to bend for exceptions.
