Good pacing, makes the material easy to understand, but the material and class itself is almost insultingly low-level. I don't think I learned a thing in that class that I didn't already know in middle school. However, she is a good professor.

Competent Prof. Ensures that you are stocked with lots of quality resourses before you student teach. Do not buy text unless you think it may help you as a teacher. Enjoyed the class, she is pleasant and reasonable. Assignments are spelled out, wouldn't say it was super easy, but you could not fail. If you got less than a B you shouldn't be in the teaching field.

CS II this is the easiest class ever. You do a variety of things, nothing really "child studies" It's nothing like CS I atleast with her. It is lesson planning, learning skills, observations, etc. There is only one test a midterm that is like 25 mult. choice. Everything is small projects like writing up an observation. Don't need the book.
