Barberich wants everyone in his classes to succeed. Each class before a test he basically gives you everything that will be on it. If you go to class and do the group exercises, you get full credit. He also curves his tests to help the class. A little awkward giving lectures but overall great professor!

Comment:
Second class with Barberich that I loved. Clear from the start on what you need to do to be successful in the class. A midterm and final exam plus a final group project. Doesn't post slides on blackboard and asks questions on the exams based on specific things he said in class so I would go. Other wise I loved this class!

At first the course may seem dry... but then starts to pick up. Professor Barberich may be a bit boring, but is very clear in grading. It is honestly an easy A if you do the assignments. He's really laid back.

I loved this class with him. Professor Barberich is the best. Two finals and a final paper. Just make sure you pay attention in class and do the readings that he assigns every week so you dont fall behind! I would definitely take this class.

I took his Corp. Comm. class and it was my favorite of the semester. Early in the semester I thought it was dry, but Barberich made it interesting, was engaging with his in-class assignments. I missed time and when I came back he was very accommodating, showing he wants to help his students pass. Tests are easy if you stick to the study guide.

Barbs is the man. Took two classes with him my senior year. 1 mid term and an online final. tells you exactly what you need to know for exams and no trick questions. 1 group presentation. Easy A or B. Class is dry but he is very laid back.

This class was really boring, but Barberich is really laid back which makes the class somewhat bearable. As long as you fill out the review sheets and study guide you will do well. I got 100 on 3 of the tests, and a 95 on the other, and I didn't kill myself studying. The final paper was graded kind of harshly.

Class is very dry. It was required for com majors, so you just have to suffer through it. Four tests, not cumulative. Attendance required - clicker points, but you can miss some because there are more points allotted then needed to pass. The class is just okay

Radio/Public Imagination: Need the book. All you need to do is memorize the facts in the summary for the chapters assigned. Go to class & take his notes down. Exams are easy: miterm & final. Easy A class. Mass Media project is easy as well. Great class to take

He's a really nice, charming, laid back guy. But this material is straight from hell. I believe he teaches it the best way he can. He's the only one that teaches this course, so you really can't avoid him. The class can be disturbingly boring so keep that in mind. If you show interest in the material and MEMORIZE it you will do fine on tests

Listen up! Michael Barberich is the greatest professor I've ever had. He's cool as hell. He doesn't take himself too seriously like some profs do. He can be boring at times but what class is fun/interesting 100% of the time? The work gets easier to understand the more you go over it.
