Weak lecturer, way too hard to follow and almost impossible to make sensible notes. Only class in 3yrs I have left multiple times and after a couple times I just stopped going back. Labs are almost written for you. Knows his stuff for sure and is a great help however needs improvement in lectures for sure.

Doug Lowe is awesome. He really knows his stuff and is very passionate about the material. People who are not too bright will find him difficult to understand, but trust me, it's not him- it's you. Anyone who has a brain will do great in his classes.

haha COMPLETELY agree with the "ok... uhm... alright..." -- definitely monotonous, definitely better to read the text than waste your time in class. SO hard to concentrate on... and the words he writes on the board are pointless anyway... I enjoy the material but hearing it presented in this way is a completely bore :S

Don't bother going to class unless you like torture. Spits when he talks so stay away from the front rows. Lectures unending, without any variation, monotone. His lectures supposedly help with labs but tests from textbook. 1/2 no show to class

All the tests and exams are straight from the text so just read and study that!He is the most boring person I have ever had to listen to but the man knows his stuff and as long as you write the labs the way he wants, its a breezy course...boring but easy!
