If you can follow directions and have a good sense of humor, you will both enjoy the class and get a good grade. There are 4 tests for which he provides study guides, from which he takes ALL the test questions. There are presentations but he allows you to present however makes you feel most comfortable. I have anxiety but felt at ease in his class

It is not the hardest class. If you show up and do the reading you will pass very easily. The class itself and the lectures are not boring and are interactive so class goes by quickly as well.

He's a great professor with a funny sense of humor, it was a privilege to be in his class this semester. Hes is very liberal in grading presentations, its pretty hard to get below a 4/5. Be ready to read the text and take notes during lectures. He puts about 200 questions on Canvas for each test and narrows it down to about 50 for the actual test.

I really liked professor blood, even though he has his own kind sense of humor he is defiantly a nice guy . As long as you study with 3x5 cards you should be able to pass the tests because his tests are based off the book he wrote (basically the study guide is the test) . And make sure to do the extra credit.

He likes to put you on the spot. However, he's funny and interesting but not always correct . If you get offended easily, dont take him. As long as you read and remember stuff from his study guide you'll easily pass the tests. Paper is super easy. Show up to class! Do extra credit or you'll regret it.

The tests in this class are tricky multiple choice questions which often does not show what you actually know, but rather how well you can decipher his question. Basically feels like you have to decode a puzzle first. Other than that great professer

As long as you study off the study guides, at least try in the presentations, and show up to class you can at least get a B. Aside from presentations and test you have only one easy essay and no homework assigned. He is pretty cool too. Kind of funny. Likes to pick on students though.

Hilarious professor. Uses his own textbook, which is basically all his class notes together and a study guide. Come to class and take the practice test and you will pass.

Blood is like having that cool old uncle who is down with the times but not politically correct about it. Test can be tough but at least his study guide is exactly what's on the tests. A few group speeches which are easy. But overall the class is enjoyable. He's funny if you don't take him too seriously but worth taking.

Do the extra credit (worth points of overall grade) and follow the basic format for papers. Only 1 research paper due for the whole semester and only 2 pages (works cited included). Easy class

I work full time and had almost no issue passing this class. The book that he requires for the course (he also wrote) is literally a study guide for the class. You almost don't have to take notes. Just show up everyday, pay attention and be prepared. **BRING 3X5 CARDS**

Buy the Study Guide that he created the Stein and Row textbook is useless considering we never used it. The guide has all of the talking points and practice exams that mirror the exams he gives. Also listening well is a must because he orates the entire session. As long as you show up and follow the study guide you should do well. Good Luck!

Teaches DIRECTLY from the notebook that is the test, but this does not mean the class is easy. I received an A but it was well earned. As long as you intently study the material you will pass the class. Slacking off just isn't his thing and he will call you out on it. Basically, if you're a good student this is your class, just pay attention.

I found Mr Blood to be a very competent teacher. He spent several hours ensuring that the students knew what was expected for the test. My only criticism is that he spent an enormous amount of time arguing "the absurdity of religion". As a Christian I do not believe that Church and Science are mutually exclusive. He was, however, completely fair.

Difficult to pass.. more than half of the class left before withdrawal day. REALLY POLITICALLY INCORRECT. He is not preparing us for Uni. Extra credit is horrible. He doesnt realize that most of us are full time and not all of our time is dedicated to his class. Grades hard. Let me just say that i got straight B's except this class, as full time...

Loved his class. The material is black and white in front of you, just a matter of memorizing it for the test. Gives HUGE extra credit opportunities that can raise your grade insanely high. Such a cool guy
