One of the most inspiring classes I have ever taken in my life. Originally from Europe, I can tell you that if you take her class, you'll know more about Europe than most smart Europeans. Be prepared to devote A LOT OF TIME to this class tho (readings, research papers, etc.). HIGH QUALITY LECTURE! She s worth the tuition but she ll make you work.

This class was once a week, and I was sure not to miss! She has a lot of reading (which she is minimizing for future) but I enjoyed the readings she chose! I actually like reading now! The films we viewed we good too. She truly believes in equality for all, and teaches you WHY! I thought i was feminist before,def now!

I have never rated a professor before and never really thought too. I wanted to make sure to do so for Professor Kineavy. She is one of the best teachers I have had, genuinely feel she wants her students to succeed and do well. One of those I will always remember, as lame as that sounds

Professor Kineavy is a very sweet and forgiving teacher. She loves her subject and does her best to make it interesting for the rest of us (: She also has some English teacher background so there are a lot of essays, mostly small ones but a few large ones.

Catherine made me fall in love and truly understand the material presented in class. She is an amazing professor and will truly miss her classes. She has inspired me as a student and an person which is something I will never forget. FYI: weekly assigned readings and quizzes, but I recommend Catherine above all others. AMAZING PROFESSOR!

readings consist of primary sources which make reading and learning experience different and not boring. i enjoyed this class overall. quizzes every week. if your up for real learning and a bit of a challenge this class is for you. teacher is not arrogant she is very interested in students needs you just need to speak up.

I found the class to be very enjoyable and educational. However, this IS a college level class; which means you are required to read, write and participate at a COLLEGE level. If you are seeking a quality education and willing to put in an adult effort you will enjoy and learn. The choice is really up to you.

Although the class started out slow with a lot of reading and some distracting fellow students, the class wasn't disappointing. The instruction was multimedia, and required some interaction from students. No arrogance, but a supportive instructor with genuine interest in student success.

The first 1/2 of the class lecture quality was very unorganized and had very poor flow. Her lecture's are completely dependent on student involvement. Don't expect her lectures to aide you in exams or quizzes. She comes across as an arrogant English teacher. Further more her instructions are vague and left to to much interpretation.
