Comment:

Very straightforward, knows everyone has plenty to do already so does not pile on homework or forcing memorization of minute details. But he also can be very vague, especially when it comes to practicals. When asked "what should we really focus on for lab practical?" he said "everything lol." Just study the power points and attend class.

Comment:

Dr. Bumbulis is a very clear professor. He teaches pretty much solely from PowerPoint lectures and not a textbook. This being said, it's kind of hard to catch up if you miss a class. If you don't study at all, you'll have a hard time. I plan on taking his other classes also.

I took him for Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2 during the summer session. Great classes, easy to understand. The lecture is a Powerpoint and him explaining. Write down everything on the slides and what he says and study that info thoroughly, that is everything you need for the test. I didn't buy the book and didn't need it. Extra credit avail.

I really enjoyed his lectures although they were long. He was good at explaining things in simple, easy to understand, terms. He will work with you if you cannot make it to an exam. There are a few bonus questions on every exam!

Dr. B is probably one of my favorite professor by far. Made anatomy fun with his sense of humor! Testspracticals all based off notesslides. Doesn't use book. Definitely disappointed I won't be able to take him again!

Dr. Bumbulis is a fantastic teacher. If you study for the tests from the notes, you will do just fine. If you don't study, you will have trouble. Very little usage of the book. He makes his powerpoint presentations enjoyable, and has a good sense of humor. I would take any class offered by him.

Dr. B would have been a better teacher if he was available more. He is not always the best at answering emails. His notes are very clear and concise and organized which is a good thing, but is tests often times contain questions that can be hard to understand in the way they are worded. Overall he was a great teacher and very humorous.

Dr. B?s summer biotech class was awesome. He?s an excellent professor who made this class very interesting and surprisingly easy. Highly recommend this course, especially if you need the science credits.

Dr. B is awesome! His tests may be a bit difficult however, lecture is so entertaining. He cracks himself up and is always trying to make the students laugh too. I highly recommend him as a professor! VERY helpful when it comes to lab as well!

Pretty easy class. You just take lecture notes which he already has done on overheads and the labs aren't too bad though mostly the questions for them are just too make sure you did them rather then actual biology questions. Decently funny and nice guy good class for a lab credit.

Dr. Bumbulis is amazing! He is a great teacher and explains everything really well. Class is not mandatory to attend but I would recommend going because tests are based on notes. He lectures the whole time and you just sit and take notes.The tests are a bit tough. You have to know your notes inside and out. Don't buy the book I never touched it

Don't bother buying the book, everything is in the notes. Tests are kind of hard if you don't study right. He gives you everything just he asks for weird stuff on the tests. I really didn't mind going to class even though attendence was optional. I would recomend going just because everything is off the notes and you learn it better from him!

Bumbulis keeps the lectures very interesting by his antics and excitment for genetics! He outlines all of the notes, but there are only a total of like 200 points for the lecture2 exams and the COMP. final.THe only thing that saved from getting a D was a 20 point extra credit opp. he gave at the end of the semester. If u take genetics take Bumbulis
