I went to like 3 lectures only and my marks haven't suffered at all. Coutanche is really nice and funny but god, his lectures are boring and the stuff he teaches is very intuitive so you don't have to go. Your TAs will tell you all the essential information in the labs and you're good. Just watch out for the pop quizzes but they're not worth much.

nice guy but so so mediocre. lectures weren't very engaging but at least he tried. i bet his family has cute xmas cards, one of the better middle-aged white guy profs in rta but found myself bored regularly. class itself is just kind of pointless, did not learn much, course consists of 8 mini projects & a participation mark. 1hr lecture, 2hr lab.

Absolutely amazing. He made a topic such as radio so exciting and was so passionate about what he was teaching. All projects were so easy, no final exam and no essays! easiest and best course thus far! I would HIGHLY recommend taking any of his classes !

Mike has the ability to break down something as complicated as creative writing into a process with rules and best practices. He's empathetic and enthusiastic and works with you to shape your writing. When you finish, he selflessly praises you for your work even though without him it would still be an awful work in progress.
