Gerwick is a safe bet. Only instructs at IRMC, students seeking more critical patients should choose other sites. If you're not seeking critical care experience, this is a chance to have a comfortable experience with a reasonable, dependable professor who has good relationships with the staff. Had her for Adult II clinical and she is awesome. She teaches you so much and you learn so much from her. She is very approachable and willing to help you learn. Best professor IUP has. Take her!

Had her for research. class is terrible but she is great. pick your group well b/c its all group work. compared to kuzneski's research class, ours was a Breeze with a capital B. no exams! just quizzes that are usually open book. yes the night class was bad, but she made up for it with the ease of the course. TAKE HER :)

Great teacher, cares a lot about students. Good class for people who are interested in learning more about meds. All tests are open notes, still kinda tough though. Everyone works as a group. Recommend it for everyone!!!!

Bad class, good professor. Holds a 3 hour night class which kind of sucks but she usually lets you go early. All work is group work but it makes the class easier so pick your group stategically. As I said a lot of work but she is extrememly on grading assignments. Knows a lot about Nursing research!

Her class was bearable. I think she had a lot on her mind which made her a bit disorganized. Research Utilization is a pretty useless class if you aren't interested in it and even if you are its hard to STAY interested. Be prepared for a LOT of writing.
