This class was very difficult and frustrating. The grade tabulation and the participation essay are ridiculous. Class was very long and dry. I don't usually write these reviews but the University didn't off evaluations on his class. Overall it was a very frustrating experience.

Dr. Cunningham really is an amazing professor. He is extremely intelligent and is eager to pass his knowledge on to his students. He is very enthusiastic and makes the classes fun and entertaining. He does expect a legitimate amount from his students. I would recommend any classes he teaches (really interesting topics).

Dr. Cunningham is a great guy and knows a lot about English. He tries really hard to get people interested in class discussions but no one seems to care. There is a quiz component and if you score below a 60% average, you fail the class. The quizzes are really hard and have a lot to do with minor details. You definitely have to read the stories.

The class was very hard. I did not enjoy his tests, and they were nearly impossible to get an A on. He expected the students to retain every shred of information from the readings, such as colors of objects in the chapter. I would not recommend his class, nor would I take a class taught by him in the future.

tough grader. basically gives you an assignment and you are on your own. for every paper i wrote i met with him for help. i often just sat in class wondering how the readings and discussions pertained to anything we were doing.

He tells you exactly what he wants on papers, and it's up to you to do it. He's very helpful and available outside of class, and actually encourages you to come to his office for help. Not super easy, but definitely very manageable. Easy B, do what he says and you'll get an A. Do yourself a favor: Spell everything right and use proper grammar.
