I had a hard time understanding what he wanted us to do. He is very knowledgeable however there always seemed to be confusion on what we were suppose to do. The people who have had welding before loved it. However people like me who have no prior experience had no idea what to do and was very lost.

I had Welding with Mike. Mike makes the classroom a good environment to be in. It is very relaxed, humorous, and he does a good job teaching - hands on and hands off. The only thing I didn't like about him was that the class was unorganized. Sometimes he forgot to teach things to sections that were behind. I'd recommend Mike for 253.

Mike (what he prefers to be called) is down to earth fun guy who wants you to succeed. He is alittle hard to communicate with and is slow to respond and grade but will answer any question or demonstrate anything you need. Super helpful and nice, hope he sticks around for a long while.
