Turn back now! This class is so boring it's not even funny. He doesn't teach anything relevant about art history. Art shaped the way people thought, changed cultures.. what is he concerned about? Such and such a piece was madde out of this kind of fresco. Who cares?!

Duffy is a nice guy, and his class is rather easy if you study. He gives you way more to study though then what you are actually going to be tested on which makes things a little frustrating. Overall he is a nice guy and the class itself is an annoyance. He tries to make it as bearable as possible.

He is an extremely nice and helpful man. The classes are not really necessary to go to sense he makes really detailed study guides and tells you everything that will be on the tests. Very willing to help you out.

I think he is the sweetest you will ever meet. He explains everything in PLENTY of detail. He has study guides for his tests and if you study you will do well, but a LOT to study though. Class is very boring, but he has everything online. BRING your computer or you will fall asleep in class.

Prof Duffy is a SWEETHEART! HE will do anything to help you get a good grade. He posts study guides, so as long as you attend class(most of the time) you should do good. You have to memorize a lot of the slides, but he gives you credit for a lot! I thought I did horrible on the exams, but I got A's!

This professor teachs an entry level art history class as it should be taught, thus he makes the class easy. Beware The class is taught by lecture and slides under dim lights which can result in ZZZZ.... Take him, study for the exams (thorough notes online) and you will come away with at least an above average or higher grade.

Extremely boring class, but really easy. Everything you really need to know is on the web, and if you either read or listen to him, you'll be set - you don't have to do both. Lectures seem to go on forever.

If you want to do nothing and get a good grade, this class is good for that. However, it is VERY boring and half the class leaves during the lectures. If you have a laptop, bring it and work on stuff for another class. Complete test reviews on web. No final exam, just four 25% tests. Easy, but dull.

I love his classes...He gives you take home essays a week or two before the exam so that you can boost your grade.If you cant memorize slides, youre in trouble,cause there will be many, but don't worry, the dates are generalized. Ive had him for 4 classes
