He's a cool guy. I love his teaching style. No powerpoints, he just sits in front of the class and tells us a story. I enjoy going to his classes and find his method of teaching makes it easier for me to learn. The tests really aren't that hard at all.

He is extremely knowledgeable. He expects alot out of his class. You need to read the textbook and supplemental book. You need to come to class and take notes. These are easy things to do. If you are willing to put in effort he will help you with anything. He also will answer any question you have in class.

Dr. Fry's class is challenging and he won't baby you through the material. He has high expectations and won't show any sympathy if you choose not to read or participate. Take his class if you're a serious student interested in the subject. He's very intelligent and worth taking a class from, just don't expect to pass without reading.

Dr. Fry took over my class when the assigned professor had health problems. He expected students to know the reading in unrealistic detail and said we should be studying for class 4 hours each night and 12 on the take-home final. Discussions were terrible and coming to class was pointless unless there was a quiz. Thinks his class is the only class.

I find his teaching methods inadequate and downright upsetting, not all of us are history majors and are only taking this class because of out gen ed requirements. 80% of my class is failing and he doesn't seem even phased by this I am very disappointed in this teacher and i feel it was a huge waste of money
