Easily one of the best professor of the school. There is only 3 test in total. 2 are inside the class. And the other one is take home test. Its only 5 questions in each test. He is Hilarious and nice. He sometimes let us leave early. The only negative is that he doesn't check his email a lot. You have to remind him to check his email. Take him !!!

Professor Gerber is a wonderful guy! You wont regret taking his class. Easy A as long as you review what he goes over before the exams. Attendance is not mandatory but you always learn a lot when youre there! Prof Gerber understands that most of the students taking this class are not majoring in law and does not expect you to be a professional

THE BEST!!! He has to be the best professor this university has!!! Gerber makes the course so easy, fun, and interesting. Take good notes,skim trough the chapters, pay attention to what he talks about and youll get an A. Two in class tests and one take home. Need to take a Law course- Gerber is your guy!!! Gerber is an NEIU legend!!!

Great guy and very entertaining Professor. He is an an actual judge for Cook County. Very respected in the Chicago area. He knows the law. Make sure you pay attention in class and take notes. 3 tests, mostly all based on his lectures. 2 in class and 1 take home. Reviews before every exam. If you miss class, you will need to read the chapter.

He is Hilarious ! You will pay attention to his class. He only have 2-3 tests, and he will tell you on what the test is about before test day. Its an easy class. But the test is essay-based, so just study hard a lil.

Only graded on 3 tests (one is take home) so having a thorough knowledge of subject matter is vital. He will go over topics in class so you know what to study, but on tests he expects you to not only know definitions of terms, but also how to apply those topics in a range of situations. Your first test grade does not solidify your final grade.

Great professor! He is hilarious & very knowledge knows everything there is too know about the law. If you failed this class you clearly didn't pay attention. Before every test he tells you what you need to study & when you get the test its all the stuff he told you just different examples! If you want to gain something from this class take him.

Michael P Gerber is the best professor at the university for the business law class. i took with him BSLAW 285. The only thing you need to do is to take good notes in his class because his test basically comes from his lecture. very easy class. i wish if he teaches other courses too. Easy A++ in his class. If you want a professor that is informative & entertaining, register now. There is a catch. Attendance is a MUST & you will have to pay attention, as his exams are based off the lectures. As a practicing states attorney, he brings real life examples & a humor not found in the business department. But his examples will stick with you past the final.
