prof. gill is very outspoken about his political views, and that might throw you off. that being said, once you get past that you will realize how truly awesome he is! super caring and nice, lectures are very clear and really interesting. class is not bad but he can be strict with some policies like seating assignments for tests; TAKE GOOD NOTES

Professor Gill is absolutely great. This class will teach you great study habits!!! His lectures are interesting but you do need to take VERY good notes and read the textbook. Cramming the night before is not effective AT ALL but if you pace the material you can get an A. He curves the exams a few points depending on the grade distribution.

Ridiculous grade ranges--should have gotten a C+. Not helpful answering questions or explaining things, and tests are impossible due to the fact that questions are worded in such a way that there seems to be more than one possible answer... Would NOT recommend taking this professor if this is for your major or if you're looking for a grade boost

If you are planning to take psyc 001 and have gill as your professor, you better have great listening skills. the majority of his exams are from what he says. you still have to read the book.

Prof. Gill really tries to make lecture interesting and explains everything really well. Test are half lecture notes and half things from the textbook. If you read the book, take good notes, and show up to class you should have no problem getting an A, but if not this class will be difficult.

Tests were really pretty easy if you read the textbook and go to lecture.. attendance isn't mandatory but I suggest you go. He tries pretty hard to make his lectures interesting and he's good at explaining the topics. Plus, there's a lot on his tests from his lectures that you won't find in the textbook.

when people do not understand the material very well, they will imagine that the tests have more than one correct answer. such people will complain about the test rather than exerting the effort to learn the material better.

test questions have more than one correct answer (double checked the text after taking the test) but only the "more correct" one is accepted

Came in expecting an easy A in psychology, but it was really anything but. He expects a lot out of you despite being an introductory class. He doesn't take attendance, but you have to show up to class to get the notes, which are 80% of the tests. However, he is probably one of the best professors at Lehigh when it comes to that.

He's a chill guy and an entertaining lecturer, but his exams are ridiculous! Doesn't want to get to know his students because he knows he must destroy their grades for the greater good. Michael Gill: waging war on grade inflation one C at a time..

One of the best professors ever. He genuinely cares about his students and will always go the extra mile to help them out. He's also a really nice guy, provides opportunities for extra credit, and is pretty easy if you go to class and pay a little attention.

not a hard class at all if u actually go to class. write down almost everything he says, memorize it, and somewhat try to learn it and you'll pretty much get an A. Some questions are tricky but are usually almost word-for-word what he said in class. So attendance is a must although not required.

Professor Gill is a great professor. You will really learn something from him, either would that be from the textbook materials or his art of living. Grades leniently and loves his students. An easy professor if you work with him. People who give him bad rating have to be the most incompetent, lazy bums.

WORST prof. at Lehigh. Stay far far away if you don't want to fail or get a D in a course. Many students take the course more than once because he is impossible, and not willing to offer any help.
