Great professor, although getting an A in the class, or any paper for that matter, is nearly impossible. He cares about his students...wish he would have gotten tenure too.

He's helpful and enjoys teaching. The man's very energetic regarding the philosophy material, but no matter how good he says a paper is, it's never going to get a grade above a B+. Other than the grades making no sense, he's solid.

He's very approachable and presents the lessons in a great manner. Sometimes I feel that his grading is a little tough--he may tell you that you have an excellent paper, but getting above a B+ is a dream.

Man, if only every professor cared about his students the way Green does! Without a doubt, the most committed prof I've ever had. He truly wants his students to understand the material.

Green is excellent. Very approachable, helpful, and articulate. It's easy to call any Prof("close minded, *** grader, and completely void of personality") especially if you don't take out the time to go and talk to them. Values student feedback.

Values student feedback more than any prof. I've known, and that is a great quality. Always willing to help and discuss issues with students in an entirely un-daunting atmosphere.

Prof. Green has been one of the best professors I have had in the Philosophy department. He knows his field and doesn't hold that over you as some do. If you have a problem with one of his classes,GO TALK TO HIM. Otherwise, you have no right to whine.

i'm not even remotely "objectivist" and not particularly "conservative" and i agree w/ every criticism here - close minded, **** grader, and completely void of personality

took intro to ethics. i'm surprised at these ratings. imo, he wasn't Fantastic, but he was pretty good. always very clear. i don't see how he could have been more step-by-step in his presentation for all majors (i'm a phil major, so maybe biased).

Hated Human Rights I with Professor Green. He was very scatterbrained and was thrown off topic very easily. If you're not a philosophy major, he offers no help trying to get you to think and/or write like a philosopher. Terrible class.

An excellent teacher - enthusiastic, energetic, and very intelligent. Those who dislike him usually do so because they dislike his stated ethical beliefs (those who usually dislike him are conservative/objectivists).
