He's very nice, but not that good of a teacher. However, he did let my class have a retake on two tests. He doesn't explain the material well. You will have to teach yourself. No homework in the class, except practice problems from the book. I wouldn't take him again. However, he is very nice and will answer your questions if you have any.

I am an A student but this class is terrible. He basically takes off for everything. The material are not explained well; moreover he make mistakes in the class regularly and go with it unless a student correct him. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Do the review. It's the only thing that will save you. He gets distracted very, very easily and will get the problem wrong half the time. He won't write out all the steps, even though he demands that you do. He will take off if you don't put equal signs, yet he doesn't tell you that he's doing u-substitution. I basically taught myself Cal 2.

I'm taking him for 2376 right now and in all honesty, I don't think he's that bad. Sometimes he gets a little off topic, but what teachers don't? I think it kinda makes it entertaining at times. He does have trouble answering questions but if you really don't understand something, if you go to his office, 1 on 1 he's a lot easier to understand.

For those who are not willing to study and practice on their own, this class would be impossible. However, he breaks down complex problems into more simplified steps to better understand. Many people complain he takes off for everything, but it helps because he gives partial credit instead of counting the entire problem wrong. I would recommend!

He was the sweetest man, but it is impossible to learn in his class. He tries very hard to teach you, and cares about you, but has a hard time understanding your questions. You basically teach yourself cal. I am a good math student, but I struggled through the whole last half of the semester. I do not recommend taking him.

His syllabus is confusing. Not absolute enough. He is too tolerant of students fighting in class. Police needed to be called.Does not respect other students feelings. Skips too many sections in book. Teaches only from the blackboard. Does not explain problems properly. Teaches material that will not be on exam. Loses chain of thought while teaching

Comes to class unprepared, and very difficult to follow. Just took his trig class this summer two. Don't do it, just don't. But if you have to work ahead on the syllabus(we had one for the wrong book!!!!!) and try not to pay attention to him.

Dr. Laidacker isn't that great of a teacher. He's very nice but he confused me so bad in Trig! He doesn't explain all his steps and it's hard to understand. His tests are pretty hard..but they are STRAIGHT from the Review...if you are extremely good in TRIG then take him if not...DON'T torture yourself!

He cannot teach. All you will learn if you take him is how to memorize problems from the review which will likley be on the test. You will have very little, if any, conceptual understanding of the topic. If you ask him a question, 90% of the time he will answer something TOTALLY different. Nonetheless, he is fairly easy--just memorize.

This is the worst professor/teacher i have ever had. He makes constant errors when working problems, goes off topic, comes unprepared to class, and mumbles when speaking. One day he showed up late and asked the class what section he was supposed to be teaching that day. Tests are easy but you will teach yourself.
