He is a passionate Math Professor. He is a tough greater, but it will get you above 90% on tests and overall score if you learn from mistakes in homework. Yes, there is homework everyday but it will not take long to do. If you keep up with the class, are always on time, and do not miss a day you'll do great. He cares about his students a whole lot!

Professor Lambe is the best professor at Grossmont College. He will work with you outside of class and make sure you pass his class. He is easy going and his tests are just like the reviews. He understands you have a life outside of college and he will be willing to help you out with anything.

One of the best professors ever. He is very helpful and understanding and is always available before and after class. His lectures are easy to follow and he explains everything thoroughly. DO NOT miss a class unless you're planning on catching up during office hours. There is homework everyday and a test in every chapter, but it's not that bad.

Michael Lambe is my favorite math professor. You may not need to get the book for the class as he prints his own notes for lecture, form the book, and work from the book is only 5% of your grade. Every test will have a practice test assigned to be graded and returned before, for your review, which match closely to the tests.

Lambe is awesome. He really takes the extra effort to make sure you understand the material and is willing to work with you out of class. Homework after every section, he will allow you to turn in late occasionally if you have a good reason. Tough but fair grader. Tests and quizzes reflect the material, so as long as you do the work you'll be fine

It was often unclear what was going to be on the test. He is short tempered and criticizes students for not knowing answers. He has office hours if you need help, but his lectures were difficult to follow making the class more difficult than it needed to be.

I was very nervous to take this class. Now remember calc is not easy, but he did his best to make you prepared. Gives worksheets due every class, homework in the book is due on the test day. He is very understanding as long as you put in effort, go to office hours & get help when you need it! He is a very cool guy and cares that you learn & funny!

The subject matter isn't the easiest but if you come to class every day and go to his office hours you will get all of the help you need to pass the class. Start going to office hours early in the semester before you get behind. He really cares for his students and has a great memory if you do or do not show up to class.

mr lambe is a very nice guy but a not so nice teacher. he is a very tough grader . his lectures are clear and easy and he does give out sample tests but the sample test and the actual tests are very different ,tests are way more difficult than the sample test. had to drop the class. if you want an A in this class don't take him.

Mr Lambe is a super nice guy and will give you all the time you need in office hours. He even responds to all questions sent to him via email for the take home quizzes. He does get a little off track sometimes and is so kind that he will often go way back to math 110 concepts to help those who are struggling so we fell behind quite a bit.

Lambe is great a instructor who is very knowledgeable about his subject. If you show that you're putting effort to learning the material, he will do everything he can to help you get a good grade in his class. One of the best math professors I've ever had. And if you ever have any questions, just go to his office and he will help. Def recommend.

I take classes lightly. But this class was by far the most difficult math class I taken. You get no breaks and the tests don't make sense. He goes way too fast and you just need to attend each class. dont miss out on anything because your grade will hurt. Just like mine did. word of advice. Don't take him if you don't like calculus.

Mr Lambe cares about setting his students up for success in higher level math courses. He assigns a lot of homework, but it is only worth 5% of your grade, so getting an A in this class is possible without doing it. He's somewhat lenient about due dates, and very helpful and accessible. I highly recommend him for anyone with a lot of math left .

Lambe is good but HARD! He is hard of hearing so be sure to sit up front, YELL and wave if you have ?'s. you get your grades back faster than my other teachers and really cares about his students. No extra credit, homework not worth much but should be done, always available for extra help in office hours, I feel prepared for calc II. I Got an A-

Although this class was very hard for me, Mr. Lambe made it bearable. His teaching methods are different but if you have any questions he will gladly talk to you and help you during his own time and reply to your emails. The tests are pretty much what he gives on the quizes. Take notes, listen, ask questions, get extra help if needed, and do the HW

Class is not easy, but will prepare you for higher level math. Do the homework and the take home quizzes, take down the class notes, all that is what's on the test. I miss Prof Lambe and his teaching style, he is very thorough and willing to explain all steps, helped me out a lot.
