He is by far the best physics professor I have had. I struggled with PHYS225 and was able to get a decent grade in 226. He is very helpful and is always willing to answer your question even in lectures. His exams were mostly multiple choice but he does require explanations(this benefits you). Curves exams based on class average allows cheatsheets.

Hilarious prof! Allows a cheatsheet for exams, drops lowest exam. Has wileyplus hw, and doesnt take roll often after first few weeks. Very accommodating.

Dr. Loverude is an amazing teacher. He is the most helpful prof I've ever had. He knows the subject material is insane, literally. (Did you know -Kelvin is hotter than +Kelvin?!) I'm currently taking 300 with him. Loverude ROCKS!

212 is all about the little things. Loverude is very helpful but his tests are extremely qualitative. He has no test make up policy bc you drop 1 test. Do yourself a favor, take Professor Dubuque or Utter!
