Comment:

Avoid this professor at all cost. He writes out all the problems for you on the board and typically does not explain in detail how he came to the answers. However, thats not the worst part. The man throws temper tantrums when he thinks students are being disrespectful. I was a good student in his class, but I was terrified of him.

Comment:

Only two tests & a final the whole semester. For homework, points are taken off for wrong answers, instead of graded for completion. Explanations are hard to follow (at least for me, I'm not a math person), moves too fast through the notes slides. Pros: Very nice guy though, and willing to help/explain. Just needs a revamped plan.

He's the type of professor that is too smart to be a teacher and assumes you know what you're doing. He's all over the place and makes no sense. Confusing to follow. Hawke's is a better teacher than he is. Do not recommend. He is willing to help, but his explanation is hard to follow.

Professor Lucci is kind of misunderstood. I admit his lectures can be really confusing just because he likes to talk a lot and jumps around to different topics, but he is very friendly and willing to help if you approach him. He does not react kindly to students who are disrespectful though (like carrying on conversations during his lectures, etc.)

Expect crazy laughing and having to read inspirational quotes out loud. Although he is all over the place when he writes on the board you'll be fine if you pay attention & do the Hawkes assignments. Always available to help students in his free time/office hours. Very caring and loves to be taught new things by the students.

Very nice man that loves to talk and will help with whatever you need. Kind of hard to follow what he writes on the board, but again, just ask him to slow down! Do not disrespect him (talk/text). If you miss a test or assignment he will let you turn in late if you are respectful and attend class. He cares for his students.

He's very confusing, and all over the place when writing on the board. He just talks without stopping or making sure you actually understand. He's always available if you need help. After going to my high school math teacher I got an A on my final, I regret not going sooner in the semester.

He cares a lot about his students and will answer any questions you have. He does tend to go on long tangents and writes all his work on the board. It's a difficult class to sit through, only because it's pretty dry, but it's not too hard if you keep up with the work.

He cares a lot about his students and them learning the material. I recommend him as a teacher. My only criticism is he does a lot of the work on the board for you which can cause problems if you learn by doing your own work. He does not give daily homework but a list of problems and will determine when its due which is bad for procrastinators.

stats are hard and this class is no exception. mr lucci is a really nice guy and is willing to help if you just ask for it. his final is super easy, he goes over homework in class before you turn it in, and labs are easy too. overall, you'll pass if you do the labs and the homework and at least try on the tests.

If you can, just avoid taking Lucci for any classes. It really isn't worth your time. I lucked out in Stats last year because he was absent for four weeks. But from the little amount of time he was in class, nothing made sense and I would end up even more confused :(

I took Lucci as a summer course.. it was easy but DREADFULLY boring to sit through for 4 hours twice a week. No homework or assignments other than weekly take home quizzes. Gives formula sheets on exams and can use computer programs to help. Gave 2 breaks during class however. Easy class, but just very very boring.

This class was difficult and lucci did a half decent job in teaching it. He writes everything on the board and makes little sense, but if you ask him questions one on one he does all he can to answer and make you understand.
