Throughout the semester she was incredibly rude and sarcastic towards one of my peers! She will not give you a good grade if you say something she doesn't agree with in your speeches. She provides a rubric but even if you follow it word for word, if she doesn't like you she WILL fail you. She feels invincible because she is the dept. director.

Mrs. Nedra is one of the best lecturer who I ever had. She never is late, always gives helpful and correct feedback. Mrs. Nedra is very caring and understanding lecturer. She realy loves her job and students. I would highly recommend Mrs. Nedra as a very experiensed professional, great personality and wish her all the best!!!

Respected, qualified, inspirational & hilarious. Notes allowed on the 2 exams & 1 quiz given & power point review of exams accessible on Black Board. 40 points of extra credit available. No papers/essays to write, but prepare to do a lot of work for the 4 speeches. If you follow the guidelines you will receive a high grade on your speeches.

I really enjoyed having Mrs. Adams-Soller as my professor. Mrs. Adams-Soller did an amazing job helping me through out the duration of this semester. We learned so much. At first I was very nervous. But that quickly changed when we started working together in groups. I would love to have Mrs. Adams-Soller as my professor again.

VERY PICKY She has to have a very certain way and she will call you out on it in front of the class. But if you absolutely dread public speaking like I did, I would recommend her for sure. Easy A if you do what you're supposed to. She lets you use notes on midtermfinal if you turn your notes in the week they're due

I'm a cooperative, pleasant, good student from Lake Forest High School, and I put real effort toward this class. Nedra made this class so difficult, and ultimately, we gained little training in extemporaneous speaking. Sets bar higherlower for certain ppl. I'm suspicious she enjoys giving harsh grades & defending her policies. Unhelpful

Very good teacher. Some what of a tough grader. Can miss 2 class days and it won't count agaisnt you. Gives a lot of extra credit, gives review packets for midterm and final, and she's very helpful.

Nedra was amazing as a speech teacher. She made the class feel at home with each other before we got to our big speeches, and whenever I was having trouble in or out of class she was happy to meet with me and help me stay on track

Nedra is quite a bubbly character. Her upbeat qualities keep the class interesting and due to her "breaking the ice" techniques" on the first day of class has led me to keep great friendships with other students. She is always willing to help and spend extra time with you. She is firm when she needs to be. Love this class!

Nedra is very outgoing and bubbly but she is a mediocre teacher, doesn't teach from the book, expects students to read CHAPTERS on theri own. only lets you miss 3 class session before she starts deducting 30 points from your overall grade. she does offer extra credit. I don't know if I would recommend her.

Absolutely crazy. Her teaching method is convoluted--read the chapter, have a quiz on the chapter, and THEN lecture on said chapter? Why? She told me to "have a nice life" on my last day. I was not impressed, but it's clearly a shame students have no clue to their rights and reporting her. I did!!
