Worst professor at Millersville! The grading only consists of 2 tests and a paper. He simply reads from the book/powerpoint during class. Most opinionated person I've ever met. Problem is that if you don't agree with his opinion, he'll simply tell you that you are wrong or come up with a completely childish remark that makes no sense. AVOID HIM!

He tells u what u need to do in order to be successful in his class. There are 2 exams and 1 paper that determine your grade. He goes thru notes VERY fast, exams include like 8 Chapters at one time. He's class was fun, he makes lots of jokes and he is a very SMART professor. You can learn a lot from him if your at all his classes!

Class is hard. You have 2 tests and a paper to hand in.So the grading is difficult BUT, the mans VERY SMART. I look up to him. He has achieved alot in his life. You NEED to be to every class which I was btw ;-D. He relates the class to REAL LIFE. (which isnt easy)Hes hard... But i'd like to have him as a prof again. HE LOVES PEPSI 1! GO RAVENS!!!!

This is the worst prof. I have encountered at Millersville. He does not teach anything from the book, so you have to memorize 12 chapters for each test (there are 2). His arguments are childish and illogical, and he has a horrible attitude. I got nothing out of his class, except a couple of laughs at his immaturity and audacity.

Very opinionated, but I like that. Relates the subject to his real world experience. Yet, that sometimes has little to do with the text. He enjoys discussions in the class, but he can argue you under the table any day. He is a good professor for a subject like this, because it is more that simply memorizatoin, he will give you real world knowledge.

Very biased on subjects, has a bad attitude...has some power issues... Dr. Ellis dropped the ball on the this one. The man has issues. Can't stop taking about himself. I have noticed that he acts much differently around other profs. Don't trust this guy at all. Shows class exam day before test. Two exams, 6 chapters, what a joke.

Mayer definately provides you with a unique way at looking at things. 1/3 of the class is spent talking about current events which is fine with me. Read the Wall Street Journal and report on your articles. There is a paper due at the end of the year and 2 test which are pretty challenging, but they come straight from the book.

Very interesting professor, very opinionated, not one to withhold his views. He knows his stuff, having been in the working world for a long time. Tests are easy. Gives respect to those who earn it. Pretty fair overall. Good discussions in class, only tells you what you need to know.

This teacher said that attendance was not graded. However, he gave me back my term paper with a D and comment saying you should have come to class more you would have done better. I am a Dean's list student I never got a D before.
