Boring lecturer and vague notes. Didn't enjoy his part of the lectures. Midterm questions were weighed unfairly (a question w/ a 1 word answer can be worth 2 marks while another question w/ a paragraph long answer is worth 3 marks). The group project is time-consuming and hard to do if you don't have a solid background in bioinformatics.

*New* - new format is now open book final exam!! Just had it today and is REALLY EASY! You can find all the exams in ur notes! HIGHLY RECOMENDED + very interesting!! but have to do a project which sucks coz it last the whole term~ He is really a great prof!

The material was interesting, and he was very clear explaining it and he was well prepared, however, his exams were not clear sometimes and he was very strict and unfair in his marking. If you didn't explain a concept using his words you lost marks.
