WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD! We were, according to the syllabus, to spend two weeks on American Indians. We spent four on Indians and covered a small part of the Civil War. If I hadn't have passed Junior High, I would not know what happened during t

What a joke. I agree he focused way too much on Native American history, but without any speaking ability, interesting dialogue or humor, or any direction with his lectures, I found the class to be more taxing than anything I've taken previously. You'll learn more elsewhere, trust me.

Focused way too much on Native Americans, and the attendence was absolutely ridiculous. Only thing enjoyable was his random comments that woke me from my nap.

He is definetly a very intelligent man and he knows Native American culture very well. I have definetly enjoyed his old school method of teaching.

A very poorly constructed course taught by a professor with little idea how to draft and present a coherent, orderly lecture.

Annoying and boring to listen to in lectures, and he takes attendance. 500 people in the class and he takes attendance. Plus he is really an environmental science professor. So American History became History of the Environment in America.
