Robinson is an awful teacher. I was barely passing Organic until I started asking for help from an asian. Thanks to Robinson being NO HELP, you should prepare to either STUDY YOUR ASS OFF.. or bribe an asian genius with super saiyan hair 3 to tutor you. Priority: Learn how mechanisms and reactions ASAP. Barely got an A--NO THANKS TO ROBINSON

Robinson is by no means a model professor anymore. Nonetheless, the majority of students will simply not study enough; they will prefer to just blame Robinson for not teaching even after they've already discovered his style, thus self justifying their poor grades. 1 hr class=3 hrs of studying. Organic is a 3 hr class. Don't whine if you slack

Worst professor ever. He cannot teach. take this class somewhere else if you want to learn. He makes class mandatory but reads the powerpoint slides(which everything is from the book). He rarely works problems on the board. You will have to teach yourself. ACS exam determines your final grade. Good luck.

Hands down one of the best teachers I have ever had. I would not be where I'm at if it wasnt for all his motivation. He works a lot and is dedicated to students. Go with him to ACS meetings and he will be sure to have a beer with you too!

Dr Robinson fails to realize, or doesn't care, that he uses the same test every year and students pass it along. It makes the difficult classes much easier. He is a nice guy who is always open to answering questions. I hated the Med Chem class but I really enjoyed the NMR course and recommend taking him to anyone.

very helpful and willing to answer any question. He's really good if you've already read your stuff and are ready for him to just go into more detail. Don't be intimidated by him...just ask for help if you need it, and if he confuses you, keep asking until you understand. He won't get mad.
