One of the best Profs I've ever had. Ive learnt stats like never before! He is Passionate about the subject and that translates to his teachings. You might just consider a profession as a statistician after this class. He is extremely caring and considerate to each students query. Definitely Take his Class if you can!!!

Everything said on here about Michael is correct. Hes an amazing professor, explains content clearly and engages the class in a way that ensures everyone understands. Amazing lectures, clear and makes his own slides. Does not read off the slides. He also won't move on until everyone understands the content. He's passionate and cares it really shows

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING No other words to describe this respected prof. Classes are engaging. His lectures slides are created by himself not by the publisher. Hes funny, explains how concepts you learn can be applied to real life. Wants students to succeed not just pass. This professor should be awarded the highest level award. 10 stars

Great professor, he is extremely passionate and will not move on to a concept without ensuring everyone understands it. I wish he taught every class at York, life would be so much easier. He demonstrates what a professor should be like - makes it very clear he wants us to succeed!

Online lectures are harder, you have to motivate yourself. His lectures are long but very detailed and easy to follow. I made the mistake of not doing problems and ended up doing horrible on the first test. Without practice it felt longer and harder than it was. Practice enough and I am sure over a B is possible.

Best prof at YorkU! Lectures are very engaging. He gives great tips, plus he gives handouts every week for practice in class, which is definitely very helpful. Midterms and final are easy/okayish if you practice. Slides also consist of theory parts that are on MCQs, so pay attention to those. He is kind and HILARIOUS! Overall, JUST TAKE HIS CLASS!!

Stats is boring but Michael makes it amazing. It's hard to fall asleep on his class coz the lecture is very attractive(his voice is extremely loud btw). If you go to every single class, you don't have to spend extra hours for the test. He makes the calculation clear and simple. Easy A and A+.
