Comment:
This online course was a bit challenging due to the long readings. The quizzes require you to carefully read and understand the essays. Do not take this course if you have a big class load for your major. The two papers that you have to do are probably the easiest part of this course because it is basically a summary. He curves your final grade.

very helpful prof. very hepful notes and videos. the material is not easy its a mind bender but he knows how to make online feel like an in person course. metaphisics is like logic applied to knowing what exists and makes sense in a new way. read slowly and read it again word by word and it will start to fit together like a puzle. take!

Hard and stressful online class but he will curve grade. Not an easy GPA booster. This class was disoriented. He didn't clarify when the discussions were due in the beginning and feedback was minimal. The topic was very hard and confusing as seen in the discussions, but he doesnt grade too hard. Quizzes were very tough.

loved this online phi 3000 class. thought about it once a week super simple, easy readings. a quiz (MULTIPLE CHOICE) and short discussion post one week and the next week simply 2 replies to other students. Definitely something quick and easy to do in an hour once a week. He's an easy grader and very easy to reach. TAKE THIS COURSE!

Excellent online course. Quick responses and heavy involvement and feedback of Prof. Quizzes make you think hard, but that's a good thing. Read all the stuff that's on BB, maybe more than once. Totally fair. Asks you to think not memorize. Great discussions. Deep stuff! Will make you think for years to come.

Worst online class ever. I took it thinking it would lift a little weight off my shoulders of how much work I had to do for my other classes, meanwhile this was horrible. The quizzes are so unclear and unfair. Never responded to any of my emails. Everything was a mess and I felt like he just gave grades out.

This was a very good course, for an online course. The discussions were very interesting. Very prompt in replying to emails and helping if you ask. Some material is challenging and abstract but quizzes are fair. Take him.

He was actively updating Blackboard for the first few weeks and then its as if he forgot about the course. I took the course in Spring and the syllabus he gave us was marked for the Fall, so the due dates weren't accurate. He doesn't respond to emails, instructions are unclear, assignments are vague. Not worth your time. I didn't learn a thing.

Was active during the first 2 weeks of the semester. After that he drifted off and I'm sure most of the students are confused about what's even going on in the in class anymore. Worse of all he doesn't respond to emails. It's like he's gone AWOL.

EXCELLENT online prof! material is abstract and u have to think about quiz questions but he gives lots of help including videos. answers emails quickly AND THOROGHLY. I had other online courses but this was the best and most helpful prof. tests can be a challenge though so you have to read the readings a couple times slowly to get it.
