Great guy. Only problem I had was that he sometimes did not give a rubric/directions for a project, so if you missed something while he was explaining, it would be super confusing when it came time to start it. Other than that he is super chill and a really cool dude. Very easy grader!

Comment:

He is a really nice guy with a passion for what he does. Was always willing to help. But he takes too many coffee breaks. I can understand taking one, but more than that seems excessive and they should not last for 30 minutes. Other than that I was very satisfied with his class.

I've had Mike for 6+ different art classes and I always try to his. I've never received a bad grade and have always had fun. He's very helpful and understanding, plus he has a great personality. He really knows his material and great techniques. If you have the chance to take a class with him, do it! I promise you won't regret it.

I like Mr.Sevick, and I'm sure he is wonderful for those just getting into art, or those taking an art class because it's required, but for high level students I don't feel that there is a lot of growth there. I'm used to slightly more "harsh" critiques which are really needed in order to improve after a certain level.

this professr was great he understood that everybody is not an artist but at the same token he graded very fairly i bought a book that we did not even have a final from so that was kind of a bummer but however i recieved an A out of the class and i am not nearly an artiist.
