There is sooo much work for this class but it was interesting and even though attendance was not mandatory, I actually enjoyed the actual class periods even though the class work was pretty difficult. So if you end up having to take it, be prepared to work on a ton of stuff but one plus is that he makes class interesting.

Everything we did (in 2 different courses) had a purpose. He kicked people out of discussions that didn't read before class! They had nothing to say so the rest of us benefit from classtime. These were real classes and I learned alot

DO NOT take him. I had him for first-year seminar and it was terrible. He apparently hates freshmen and I believe it. He threw people out of class for no reason, was more interested in himself and the shocked reactions he could get out of us rather than actually teach us anything. Terrible waste of your time

this was a great class because of the teacher. I learned a lot more than I thought I would about psychology and a lot more. He really cares -- but if you don't care, if you don't think, you won't get it. People who complain here are missed the point!
