He seemed nice, but very uninterested in how much you are actually learning from him. I learned more from the book. Without the book I would have probably failed. However, becareful! His logic differs from the book a bit. You have to take notes as well, or you can easily get lost. Make sure to write your notes down fast too. He's a speed eraser.

yes, you can miss class, but, he's terrible ... otherwise, not helpful, difficult to understand. he's monotone / bad english and not helpful in a one on one scenario. seems to lack any personality. quite unmemorable, students would be better off watching powerpoints for class then trying to listen to him

Best teacher I have had here. It was the easiest class.He doesnt care about attendance at all and as long as you get the notes and study a little bit his test/ quizes are really not bad at all. I have an A in the class and put absolutely NO effort into it. Really nice guy, willing to let u take a test at another time if u have a conflict!A+++

Lectures are very clear. Make sure you take notes on all his lecture because this is the material for the quizzes and tests. No homework and don't buy the book, because you can ace the class by just showing up. However, have to do well on tests because grade isn't diversified much.

Take him if no better choice...I took him in the summer and he was very tough...a quiz every tuesday and a midterm and final.He strictly gives you your grade depending on what you get on the exams...no extra credit or homework...So if you take him and want an A make sure you do good in his tests.

Gives great notes during class, and makes the material seem quite easy. When quizzes and tests come around, the material mysteriously morphs into rocket science. I dunno, he is a good prof, but his exams seem tough. Extremely Nice Guy
