Very upbeat, tries to involve the class. He doesn't take attendance but he realizes who is trying and who is participating. You will know exactly what is on the midterm and final. Three essays, 4-5 pages, not to difficult. I am TERRIBLE at history so i made sure i went to class but i didnt participate much but pulled a b-, not too bad..

He was really interesting. Class was definitely not a bore to attend. Didn't take attendence but made you want to be there. The assignments are fairly clear, and involves class in making the Final exam. Hooks you up with a good grade if you participate in class.

Great Prof. Makes it clear what he wants and grades very lightly. He tries to make class fun and if you participate and are opinionated he will love you (despite your opinions). Only 2 tests and 2 papers (very light work). A lot of reading needed tho. Take him if you can.

Mr. Vargas is a great teacher who really can relate history to his students. His classes and readings are interesting. This is the class I most looked forward to. Midterm was good I confused two people on an ID and messed up, but it was easy. Overall, great guy, great teacher, great class.

Great teacher, able to relate to his students, his midterm is fair and straight out of your notes. Interesting personality and usually lively. He is approachable and a very fair grader. Just show up to class, listen to him go off on tangents sometimes and you'll do well.
