If you go to class you will have no problem with the tests. He gives you a study guide for each chapter, which mirror the test questions. He is a hard grader though. Watch out for the presentations and individual paper...he always expects more than you think.

I didn't do very well on the tests, harder than I thought they would be. Individual presentation, if you follow his instructions, you'd think you would do good. Instead I got a low B because I left out things he thought I should include...well I can't read your thoughts. You also have a couple group projects and an individual paper.

i agree too, he is an awesome person, just not a great teacher. i think its difficult when teachers lecture one thing and then give a book test. why do we need a teacher then we could just read the book, i missed this class every day and just read the book. i got A's and B's on the tests but it took reading Every chapter and they are very specific.

Good guy, however I wouldn't recomend taking this class with him. You can def. tell he's a business man and a good one at that, but teaching isn't one of his top qualities. Take the ONLINE course if you can. Tests are HARD and VERY specific.

I agree with everyone else. Also, expect test questions to be very picky and hard. Even if everyone gets a test question wrong, he won't throw it out. Also, no curves.

All He does is talk about himself and reads straight out of the book. He is very unclear what he wants and then when half of the class has done a bad job, he will then explain what he wants. Nice guy but should not be a teacher. This is suppose to be an INTRODUCTORY class not Rocket science. He is very uptight!

this class sucks...not only is it boring to begin w/but he reads straight out of the book in a complete monotone..so it's not even worth going to class except to get the participation points. Nice guy but boring as hell in class and is VERY unclear on what you are supposed to do for the group projects and papers. its pretty much shoot and miss..

Monotone lectures. Stories about him and/or his son galore. Assignments unclear. You will get a passing grade if you read the book, attend class and complete all assignments. Sometimes hard to stay awake during lectures. Hope to get a good group to work with. I was lucky, my group rocked and did well, others did not.

nice and funny guy but an amazingly dry and boring class. Tests are pretty picky but they really don't count that much toward your grade.
