Dr.Cohn was a supportive, constructive Clinical Supervisor for Internship I and II. She had high expectations, but always made them clear. She did not tolerate less than adequate performance. She was one of the best faculty members of UCF.

Comment:

Dr. Cohn is a GREAT professor. Willing to help with anything. Lots of assignments, but turning in QUALITY work gets you an "A." I have made an A in two of her courses, EDG 4323 and EDF 4214. I also successfully passed Internship 1 with her as my coordinator. I made an "S." She is excellent and I would recommend anyone to take her!!!

Just like the comment before..alot of people decided to drop the class just because of the course load. I am glad I stayed with it just because in the end it wasnt all that hard. If your not sure about an assignment just ask. She is definitely approachable:)

Comment:

Many people dropped this class on the first day because the course work seemed very intimidating. However, most of the assignments were pretty simple. The only thing that I didn't like was that you were required to go to a school board meeting. She was also a lot of help with livetext.

Very negative and critical. Won't help in job searches. Sort of a bully. Not helpful to learn teaching. I don't think she ever taught much herself.

I disagree with the post above. I found that Dr. Cohn was very helpful as my internship coordinator and she has been very helpful aound the campus. The only thing I disliked was hearing from others how she took off for "um," "like,"

This teacher will not give you good ratings no matter how hard you try to pass internship one in your junior year. If at all possible find somebody else that will be willing to help you understand how to teach elementary education.
