Good personality. Easy A for most classes, especially one he's interested in. That said, dont take his classes if you actually want to learn something. The only stuff you'll learn is what you teach yourself. Less is more with Mike. Always pick a project he expresses intrest in. If you fail he'll still likely give you a A or B.

Didn't learn anything in 221, learned a lot from 304. He was using Claude's notes, homeworks, assignments, exams, everything, for 304, which may be part of the reason. CSSE221 was easy because I already had a strong programming background...304 was a CRAPLOAD of work, but if you do all the work and do it well you can get an A. Takes a LOT of time

If you want to learn, do not take this class, if you want an A for doing nothing go for it. The lectures, tho very very few, are very confusing and impossible to follow. Requires laptops to be closed while he teaches, so you can't even work on something else ...

Wastes lots of time talking about nonsense and is very disorganized but easy to understand and not much homework. It's ok to be loose with due dates but most ppl didn't hand in their first project till the end of class; a little unfair.

He's a great teacher. He covered the material well and at a good pace. He's very flexible and doesn't care if you don't hand it homework right away, and there's not too much of it! The lectures are fun, and I would take him again.
