This class was not interesting at all. He talks the whole time and that's pretty much it. If you are a visual learner and/or you like a upbeat class, this is not for you. Try hard to stay awake.

Easy A. His lectures can get very dry and very borring but he hands out chapter notes. He assigned some essays and as long as you turned them in on time you got 100%. He also gave tons of extra credit.

I liked the class. You might get bored sometimes because his lectures are long. But if you study, you won't have problems. He gives you extra-credit for visiting museums. Just be patient.

I only came into class when he handed out take-home quizzes. You do not have to be present, but if you don't show up, you should definitely read the chapter or read his notes online. Doing the extra credit and doing well on the two double-spaced essays will help.

I showed up to every class and took notes based on his lecture and still didn't do well on the quizzes. His questions and answers were very ambiguous and you have to basically figure out how he interpreted the information from the book. Even on take home quizzes you could read it straight out of the book but still get the answer wrong.

As long as you study, you will have a good grade. People in the class did not pay much attention, and they were not even willing to show up in the class, so most of them failed. I would suggest you to study to get an A or B. If you want to learn, take him, but if you want to get an A without working, take another teacher.

Just attend the classes and study 3 h before mid-final exams= and you gonna get A'. Simple and very correct (fair ) Prof. The questions for exams are provided in the previous classes, so it's very easy. Take the 8 week. Very good Prof. and easy A.

Very easy class, exams from quizes-but he gives you answers in the previous class. Easy easy A. For real

Prof. Anderson is ok-good ( yes he is boring-but i'm here for a good grade so i don't care about entertainment), even tough he said himself - "i'm not the best prof'-but he's actually -good. mid-final exams from quizez but you have the answers already- very easy class / sincerly

His class was extrememly boring-all he does is talk continuously. Do not take his 3hr lecture class, you WILL fall asleep. He graded based on 5 quizzes, 2 hw assignments (2 essays for each hw), & 2 exams (mid-term + final). I took tons of notes too and still ended up with a D. Tests can rly hurt. Even with long lectures, U have to read the book.

Professor Anderson, was not helpful at all. He cannot teach history. Whenever a test was given, the contents were questions on material next discuss during the lecture. He does not have a clue how to teach History. Please do not take Dr. A...if you want a passsing grade. Perhaps, he will retire soon.

Sometimes mix up facts from book during lecture.Rarely goes beyond a rambling regurgitation of book contents, but when he does,is even more hazy on facts from real life.Unfortunately can't make lecture interesting even when he tries,so often just doesn't try at all.Creates ambiguious choices for test questions that can only be interpreted his way.

I have never had a worse teacher. In spite of attending (which was incredibly boring), doing all reading, and participating, he is very discouraging. He said that most Americans are not interested in their own history and so it is no surprise that over half of his students fail. The test answers are quite obvious to him, he says! STAY AWAY!
