I didn't know how to study for his tests because all of the course material was so disjointed. This is the nature of the course, so this is not 100% his fault. I am not a science major, nor was anyone else taking the course (SC 200), so of course I didn't understand most of what he was talking about. He was not much help, and the GA was NO help.

Dr. Gray is an amazing professor. His classes are fairly difficult, partly because his subjects (micro-, cellular, and molecular biology) are very complex ones and partly because he really pushes his students to think for understanding. Although in larger classes his shyness can make him seem intimidating, he is always glad to help his students.

Best teacher I have ever sat under. Very difficult, but for very good reasons! His students don't memorize, they understand. In the end, Dr. Gray (aka, "Genius of the Universe") is the BEST.

Whoops... All I can say is RUN! :) Dr.Grey knows his stuff but should clearly be out curing cancer or inventing cars that run on water rather than be in the classroom... he is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and I was a 3.8 pre-med student! good luck

FRICKIN' HARD!!! this is not a class to take for recreation! i spent 20 hrs. a week studying for this one class and i only got a C+. i learned alot, but his grading should be reformed. i'm glad i transferred to a public school: grades reflect effort. now, all of my science classes are A's. a bio prof there said "Wow, that's pretty good" about my C+

this guy is a genius but hes ridiculously difficult. be prepared when you go into the class for lots of bio book time. if you are confused, GO to him and ask questions. there's probably going to be a long line of people but he's a good guy and will help you.

While I have learned a great deal from Dr. Gray, however his grading system needs to be reformed. Most students at other schools receive grades superior to those received by most students in a Dr. Gray class, but those other students have not learned as much. Dr. Gray grades should reflect how prepared and competitive his students really are.
