Get a laptop if you value your hands. He has high expectations for your book review. Try to guess what he will put for the ids on the exams so you don't stress out studying everything. Find someone else who takes good notes. Don't you dare miss a class or you will be lost for a good two classes. Great Teacher! Just get ready to work!

Dr. L is the best professor at LSUS. I've learned more in his classes than I've learned the entire time I've been in college. People complain about him just pacing & lecturing, but he presents info in a very interesting & easy to understand way, & he is very helpful. Take him if you want to learn. THE BEST there is!!! I wish I could take Napoleon!!

He is the best. I've taken him for 2 100 levels and 2 400 levels, and I have learned an amazing amount of info that I use in my other classes. He is very interesting. He gets a bad reputation, but he is one of the most helpful people here and works very hard to take care of students. He just looks mean, really not. Take him if you want to learn!!

One of the best LSUS has to offer. Challenges his students, but is very fair, very helpful, and frank--which is always appreciated. Thanks Dr. L!

Dr. L is a very knowledgeable professor. He gets you interested in the subject and truly wants his students to learn the information. Does not take roll but if you want to pass you better be there. Gives a lot of notes 8-10 pages a class but the information is great. If you love history, you will love this class with him! He is intimidating.

Leggiere is a genius. I don't care if I had to take 10 full pages of notes each session, I learned so much from his lectures. I only wish I wasn't finished with all of my required history classes. And yes he's nice to look at.

If you want to learn something take him, if you want to blow class off and get an A anyway then beware. The best professor I have had because you actually learn from him. I asked a million and two questions and he answered them all and didn't act bothered by it. My favorite professor, wish I could take him again. Take him if you want to learn!

Lots of notes, class attendance is a must. He makes history interesting. Gives great bonus opportunity at the end of semester. If your looking for an easy A however, i don't recommend this class unless your a history buff. He wasn't too bad too look at either :)!

Prepare for carpal-tunnel syndrome. NOT the class to take if you're looking for an easy A. The teacher is okay, but boy, does he ever LOVE the sound of his own voice. His tests are 85% notes, 15% textbook, so it's a toss-up whether to buy the $100 dollar book. If you don't mind 8-9 pages of notes per class, take this guy.

Can u say B-O-R-I-N-G??? This class reminds me of high school history. He actually reads his entire lectures and expects u to write it all. First class... 6 pages of notes...front and back!!! How on earth did he become department head?? Oh yeah, he was buddies with the former dept head.

Super cool professor. If you want to learn something, take him. You won't learn as much from any one other person in your entire life. He is very nice. If you ask him a question he is glad to answer. You have to study notes every night to do well. When I was a freshman I hated him, now I wouldn't take anyone else. And yes, he is hot.
