During my internship with the Home and Abroad program, Dr. Lund taught me about audio production and writing scripts for podcast episodes. He encouraged me to set aside my perfectionism to focus on the larger goals for each episode, and he granted me the creative freedom to take the episodes in the direction I was interested in.

Deff recommend him. He's such a nice guy. He even picks out the cheapest books. You do have to read and there is a lot of discussion in class but he's super understanding and extremely helpful. He had us do 10 one page essays and none were too bad. He's also got a pretty good sense of humor. Wish I could take him again.

Dr. Lund is one of the most helpful professors in the English department. He goes out of his way to meet you and will remember you for years to come. He helped me through World Lit. so much and wants to see everyone succeed. Attendance is mandatory and the course material is kind of boring but Lund passionately engages his class every single day.

World Literature is an incredibly boring subject but Dr. Lund makes it as painless as he can. Class consisted of discussions where he would call on random people. Don't skip reading assignments but even if you don't know an answer he'll help you out to the point where you never need to be nervous going into class. Boring subject but good professor

I had Dr. Lund for english 150 and I made sure I had him for world lit!! He's so silly and yes he does go off and tell stories sometimes, but I enjoy listening to him. Awsome guy, VERY smart.

Dr. Lund is amazing! I was worried about his class b/c I heard he assigned a lot of reading, which is VERY true but its easy reading & entertaining. If you read you're bound to pass w/ flying colors. You'll watch movie clips & compare the material to daily scenes. Class is one big discussion. Hes kinda adorable for an older man & hes funny.

God! This guy is SO annoying! He makes you watch random commericals and try to find the "deeper meanings" of every element in them (so we can be more "learned" wtf??). He also picks out the most random things to be symbols (of sheep, language etc) and then applies them everything else you learn in the course. This class is terrible...

I just don't see how ANYone can like Dr. Lund! We spend the entire HOUR and 15 minutes discussing (in circles) something that should only take 10 minutes tops..Not only that-But he's one of those professors that takes every single element of a story and tries to turn it into symbolism or something its not! I really wish i hadnt wasted my time/money

I loved him. Some people think he is dull, but I found him facinating. To me, one of the best things about him, is that some of the books he teaches, he has never read before. So it's fresh to him and not stale to us. It was fun to see him come in to class and hear "I didn't really understand what happened in that section, did you?" Awsome.

The books he assigned were boring and difficult to get through. Other than that he is a wonderful prof. Really wants you to understand the class and have knowledge and skills that you can use in the future. Tests are not easy, but you can get an A if you work at it. I reccomend taking him, just dont slack off.

He is a great teacher! He is so nice! As long as you do the reading, you will be ok. If I wasent sure about a question he would ask me, I would point out another part of the book to prove that I had read. He also shows clips of movies and pulls everything together! I would recommend this class to anyone who doesnt mind reading, it's not that hard.
