Started off by scaring the crap out of me considering it was my first semester of college. if you get on her good side and follow her directions you will do great!! she a great womanandthe class is fun if you go along with the wy she teaches. no tests, just papers and speeches

Communication 1. Everyone should take this class and Dr. Mock at least once for SURE! She is a great teacher, she is funny and smart and she is caring. She will work with you and teach you. She could grade harder then she does and it would be totally fair. I think in part she doesn't crack the whip in order to keep from discouraging students.

She's such a sweetheart. She's been through a lot in her life but is very strong, smart, and genuine. Her class started out difficult but by the end of the semester, it turned out to be pretty easy. She can get a little side-tracked, but sometimes that's when you learn really interesting things....it all turned out to be pretty fun.

Mock is a good teacher and is funny and nice. She starts the class like she is going to be a tough teacher but she really isnt that hard she makes it very clear what she expects and grades strictly to those guidelines. if you dont follow what she expects you will prob not do as well as you hoped

As much as I love Dr. Mock as a person, I didn't care for her as a professor: American Poetry was far too easy, and it showed: most of the troglodytes in the classroom put in zero effort and still got an A. The course was a joke, frankly.

Dr. Mock is amazing! She is absolutely wonderful as a professor and allows everyone to have freedom of creativity. No exams, just critical analyses and speeches. She is very fair in grading and is clear about what she expects. I wish I had room to take another class with her!

She is very different from other professors. She doesn't talk down to you during class. At first, her class seems very intimidating, but she eases you into each assigment. There is a lot of reading in the class, but it's necessary to understand her lectures. Plus, this will help with your massive final project. I'd take her again.

Dr. Mock is an outstanding women and it shows in her knowledge and teaching. She may cancel classes at times, but has anyone bothered to rebuttle the rumors? Sometimes instructors have great reasons why that happens. Give her a break already! I recommend this class to all majors. I'm sure I'm receiving the A in the class :-)

Great professor! The class seemed intimidating at first but Mock is an interesting teacher who captures your attention during her lectures (And makes you think). Alittle tough on grading but she's willing to look at your papers before you turn them in and she gives lots of guidance. Definitely take this class...its worth your time!!

I loved Dr. Mock. You NEED to take a class with her! While she does grade difficultly, she explains what she wants, and how to do it. Classes are never boring, and I had her for 3 hours a night. Only issue is she does miss classes a lot, so your chances for grades will sometimes be slim. She's a very intelligent and interesting person!

My favorite teacher. . . for obvious reasons. Why wouldn't you want to be in her classes? She is smart. She is interesting. She is easy to be around. She is easy to learn from. Interesting conversationalist. Great sense of humor.
