Comment:

Normal required course I didn't have much interest in, but Mrs. Roberts is such an incredible person!! Learning the material/how to code was difficult and I probably wouldn't take the class again for fun, but I would absolutely recommend it just to be in her class! She's SO kind and caring, hilarious, and absolutely willing to help in any way :)

This is a fantastic class if you come and participate. Students who blow the class off and expect to learn how to program overnight are in for a shock. Mrs. Roberts keeps class fun and you will definitely learn a lot.

I loved Mrs. Roberts AND this class. If you are reading thru the comments, her midterm message was "If it was assigned material, it's fair game for the exam" She's hilarious, follows the syllabus, projects are fun and done in groups. This course counts as a math sub, so don't take it if you plan on missing a lot ( 4 days) of class. Gives her cell#

One of the worst professors I have ever had and I've had some pretty horrible ones. She messaged the whole class the morning of the midterm and said "oh yeah stuff we didn't go over is going to be on the test". Plus when she does "teach" it's so scatter brained that you have no idea what she is talking about. Take another professor for this course

She was hilarious! However there is only one of her, so you'd better be paying attention or when it comes to coding yourself or within groups it'll be tens time more hard. We worked in groups a lot and it made learning easier and more fun!

One of the worst teachers I've ever had, here is why. For the final project I asked her in class when her office hours were so I could come and get extra help, as she said we could do, and her reply was to email her. I emailed her and didn't get a response after a week of waiting. I asked again in class, she just said email her. She never helped.

Wonderful teacher and person. I took several classes from her inc. ind. study. She is charismatic, very kind, and incredibly smart. I have many fond memories of chit-chatting with her outside of class on all sorts of topics. She has a keen eye for finding exceptional students, and encourages them to help out others. She cares deeply for others.

I took this class to meet a requirement and enjoyed it so much I'm going into Computer Science as a minor. Mrs. Roberts is knowledgeable, inspiring and hilarious. Also, all the lab work has clear descriptions and grading rubrics.

I love Mrs. Roberts. She is so helpful in everything and loves to answer questions. I love that she teaches with hands on labs instead of talking the full class time. There are a few days when she does talk the whole time, but even then she makes the lecture interesting. She is also very lenient with late work, but I wouldn't take advantage of that

Michele is the best teacher I have ever had. She is so good at teaching web its unreal. I cant say enough how great she was and how helpful she was. She knew what she was talking about and made it interesting so you wanted to hear everything she had to say. I have never had a teacher as good as her and I have never learned like I did with her.

Michele Roberts is the best teacher I have ever had. She is helpful and pushes you to understand. She also makes it interesting so that you WANT to listen to everything she has to say. She has been so helpful to me not only with computer science but also with real life situations. She is one of my favorite people and hands down the best teacher.

Unlike other web classes, you will actually learn how to produce close to professional web sites. Michele keeps class interesting with her humor but really pushes you to learn. Excellent class. Plus she helped me find an internship.

Comment:

The beginning of the class started with half of the class not understanding what was being taught. After it was brought to her attention she backtracked to the beginning, taught the material much slower & in a style better understood, and is completely switching the way the class is taught in the future using student input. What an amazing teacher!
