Too bad she won't be here anymore. That's how UTM is....keep the horrible professors around FOREVER, even though most of them have never darkened the door of an elementary classroom, but the professors who have actually had classroom experience, they get rid of them. Just gritting my teeth till graduation...

Flippin' sweet! Dr. Arant is a very down-to-earth, knowledgable professor with a great sense of humor. Yes, she makes jokes and funny comments in class, but that doesn't mean she doesn't take her job seriously. How can you not like a professor who loves Napoleon Dynamite? Highly recommended!

I learned alot in both of her classes that will be helpful to me as a future teacher. She does crack jokes but dang who needs another dull professor. She has a great sense of style, and will help you if you take the time to go to her and ask.

I enjoyed this class very much. I don't know about Dr. A being "Hot", but she is warm and caring toward her students (probably the most caring teacher I've had). If her class was called a stand-up bar...I did'nt get my drink. The class is very informative and useful, even for this cello playing football player.

Some say she cancels class alot but that's not totally true. She gives you time to complete the 16 chapter tests that are due at the end of the semester. Just because you don't go to class one day doesn't mean that it's a free day. Sometimes, you have to complete work online rather than go to class. Dr. Arant brings real life examples to the class.

Not the warmest person by any means, but she does have a sense of humor...in the sense that she treats the classroom as a stand-up bar. But she was usually a hit instead of a miss. Class is simple. On-line (i.e., open book!) quizzes and one group presentation. She does cancel class a lot, too.
