She does have good intentions, as people mentioned, but she really is not a good professor. She goes on and gets lost when she talks and is confusing, making it so hard to understand what shes trying to teach. Her powerpoints are unhelpful, and dont try to get help from her because she will make you feel stupid for not understanding. Had to drop.

Fry is such a nice person with great intentions. She uses powerpoint slides which in my opinion is not the way to do chemistry. She rambles a lot and uses words no one understands. The class is not impossible and she does give extra credit towards the end. She is just a confusing individual. If you took chemistry in high school, you should be okay.

Fry doesn't explain anything. She rambles about one slide for 10 minutes and then tries to rush through 10 slides in the last 3 minutes of class as she reads them off. She gave us a whole 2 minutes to take quizzes at the end of class. I ended up skipping her class and going to another professor cause I couldn't stand her lectures.

She's very clear and a fair grader. Pay attention in class, take good notes, study, and do the homework and you will get an A or a B easily. Her Friday quizzes are often harder than exams, and she will take the top scores and give plenty of them. The final questions are all from previous exams.

Dr fry is awesome, dont forget that. The lab itself is very hard. Although she may be scatterbrained at moments, she is a great professor. She makes an awful lab, not so bad. So I have to give her credit for that. Get ready for long labs and long nights of not knowing what you are doing! Fry will be there to help though!

Use the online resources, they were really helpful for the test. Quizzes are every Friday. Exams are all multiple choice and I hated that there were only 25 questions and were worth 3 points each. Dr. Fry is good at explaining the topics but tends to move quickly through the material because there is so much to cover

This is the worst chemistry class I have ever taken. Fry doesn't explain anything. She rambles about one slide for 10 minutes and then tries to rush through 10 slides in the last 3 minutes of class. Her notes/powerpoints are useless. The book is more help on the homework. Mastering Chemistry is a pain. I do not recommend her to anyone.

i learned most things from Behmke's slides... Fry doesn't explain much, just does it and expects you to understand. rushes through things to keep up with other classes. sends out powerpoints ahead of time but i highly recommend referring to the book or Behmke's materials if you're confused - they are much more helpful. i don't really recommend her

really boring. doesn't keep the students engaged. I learned just as much, if not more, from reading the powerpoint slides she sends out than going to class.

Fry is a good teacher. Willing to help if you need it. Usually doesn't finish lectures in class because she tries to really explain topics so you understand it. attendance isn't mandatory. Easy A if you do good on your homework and go to the chem review sessions

rushes through material & you leave very confused. She does give you practice problems but they are easy & don't prepare you for the test at all. Also mastering chemistry is a pain & half the time she teaches the info after we have turned it in. She is very intelligent but talks down when you ask a question which is intimidating

LOVE Dr. Fry! She sends out her powerpoints so that you can follow along in class, which is super helpful. She cares about her students and is more than willing to help you outside of class. If you pay attention and get help from her when you need it, there is no reason why you shouldn't get an A in her class

Awesome teacher! She teaches the material very well. She goes in depth with the material which makes her off schedule and results in cramming for the test. Stressful alot of the time but shes still an awesome teacher. I would definitely recommend her based on what i've heard about other teachers in CHM.

The only chem professor that responds to your emails immediately, posts grades rapidly, and posts a ton of practice examples that are bound to show up on tests and quizez! The cons has got to be that she rushes through the material, always leave the class late, lecture is monotonous. Also, generally chm110 at Bradley is extremely difficult BEWARE

May be better at higher levels of chemistry, but can't figure out how to explain the concepts to lower levels. Goes through equations without explanations; does a poor job of answering questions about them. Rushes to finish each chapter. Only 8~ people are getting A/Bs in a 100-level class, out of 90-or-so.
