MSA literally doesn't need any more great reviews, but gosh, she is just SO AMAZING, I couldn't give up a chance to compliment her. To succeed in the class, just make sure you do the things on her checklist at the beginning of every week, and stay on pace. There's an INCREDIBLE amount of resources and practice problems, so make sure you use them!

The key to a good grade in this class - do the practice problems and do the homeworks over again to prep for the test. On top of being a phenomenal teacher, she gives you the resources you need to succeed. If you keep up with the workload throughout the semester, there's no reason you shouldn't make an A. Better than Econ 101 by a longshot.

MSA is a fantastic professor! ECON 410 can be difficult, but MSA makes the material relevant and manageable. She offers a lot of resources including help sheets, study tips, and office hours, so make sure you take advantage of those things. Do your practice problems too!

MSA was a gem of a professor. Not only was she superb at explaining concepts, but she was always smiling and a genuinly positive person. I can only hope there are more professors like her at UNC. The class is difficult and requires a lot out of you, but she makes it not half as bad as it could be. I bought a textbook and did not open it once.

THE BEST PROFESSOR AT CAROLINA BY FAR. She is super sweet and always available to help her students. She puts together many resources for her classes and gives the class tips on how to do well. She really sets you up to succeed. I hate economics but I loved her class. MSA truly loves what she does and it shows.

My absolute favorite professor at UNC. Extremely kind and patient, and gives students all the materials and instruction they need to succeed (if you put in the effort). ECON 410 is extremely calc heavy, but she makes the material understandable through lecture. 10/10 would take again! (P.S. DO THE PRACTICE PROBLEMS BEFORE THE HOMEWORK SET).

Dr. Andrews is amazing. Her lectures are well-organized and engaging. Recitations can be super helpful if you care to go. Homework can look a little intimidating at first, but there are hundreds of resources you can reach out to whenever you need help. Her tests are relatively easy if you understand all the homework questions. Loved this class.

She really brings the jokes to class, which breaks down the long class periods. She gives you all the tools you need to succeed, so it is up to you to go to recitations, do textbook practice problems, and study. The homework is a pretty easy A because you can work with classmates, and participation is also an easy grade boost.

Michelle is my favorite professor so far at UNC. She gives very clear explanations of all of the material, and sometimes shares funny stories about her kids to describe different concepts. If you do the book problems, you'll do fine on the exams. If you don't do the book problems, the exams will be really difficult though!

Good teacher, but very hard tests. One of the hardest classes I've taken so far. Her class is very math-intensive. Tests are way harder than the homework. The multiple choice questions are extremely tricky and require a lot of quantitative analysis. Avoid this teacher if you are not a math person or if you hate tricky and lengthy tests.

This professor will give you all the help you need. However if you don't do the work there will be no hiding place. To summise if you are interested or motivated. DO IT!
