She's honestly the best art professor I've ever had. Her demos are super informational and very entertaining. Even when she gets sidetracked she still tells you good info about the topic at hand. She's a material junkie and will tell you everything you need to know about it! She cares for all her students and truly wants everyone to succeed!

Comment:

Human Anatomy for the artists is an awesome course. It is extremely work intensive though. You have three really big out of class projects and you have to spend a decent amount of time on them. You definitely learn a lot from this class and if you like drawing the human body you should take it because she brings in a models frequently.

I didn't really learn anything new from this class. I didn't really improve either. It felt like drawing I all over again. Vitali knows what she's talking about, BUT her lectures are lacking. She also likes to skip over quite a few assignments when she grades things. She never tells you this, of course, so be sure to keep track of what's graded.

May be one of the greatest teachers Edinboro ever had grace its halls. Passionate and eager to teach AND to learn. Clear criteria for grading. She tells poor students what they need to hear and guides good students in the right direction. The very definition of professionalism. Take every class you can. You will be a better artist and person after.

She seemed a bit incompetent to me. She gave me somebody else's project, claimed that I gave her the wrong project (twice), lost one of those "wrong' projects, accepted another after I did nothing to it, and basically ignored me. She also hunted another student down through Facebook just to start a fight.

What a wonderful woman! I love her. She has so much insight to give not just on art but on life. You could talk to her about anything. She gives her honest opinion and won't BS you like some professors. All around enjoyable class and cares about your education. I highly recommend! :)

My absolute favorite professor so far. She is very understanding. She wants to see her students do well and improve, so she's pretty lenient with late work. Just talk to her if you're going through some problems with your art, or even in your life. She'll work things out with you. I plan on making her my adviser.

She is possibly the smartest art professor I have had yet. She is very smart and articulates well. She tells you exactly what is expected of you and is more than willing to give you as much help as needed. she honestly takes a personal interest in your ability and improving that ability. TAKE ANYTHING with her!!!! plus she's a great artist.

She has a way about saying rather mean things to you in a really friendly way, so it's not until she's walked away that it strikes you she's been rude. She'll look at drawings and tell you when you've messed something but, but doesn't really help fixing it, just repeating things like "Use your sighting tools" like you're not looking hard enough.

Waste of my tuition money. Didn't receive any help all year. If so preoocupied, why teach at all? Picks favorites- if you're not one, everything you do will be slanted negatively. Just like a 4 month independent study, only I paid $900 for it and didn't even get that much help.
