I would try and describe how horrible this class was and how horrible of a professor Mike is, but you wouldn't believe it even if I tried. Word of advice, sit in on the other professor's lectures teaching this course and learn from them. If you want a teacher who doesn't know how to teach and isn't interested in helping you, you've found him :)

Bednarz is a great guy and extremely intelligent. He expects you to put in the work hard in order to get a decent mark. Doesn't believe in practice tests- his are TOUGH. But will let you know what he expects from you during his lectures. Pay attention, study, show that you care, he will take you seriously. If not, when you fail- he won't care.

Most useless teacher I have had in 16 years schooling. Does not care about students whatsoever. Very condescending when asked for clarity. He missed a lot of classes and assumed students would make up the missed content themselves.

Prof is not approachable, will completely ignore you at times, class average is below pass (50%). I don't know how anybody can give him good reviews, perhaps he should stop writing his own reviews. He deducts marks for even if the procedure is right, but answer is not correct. He doesn't care about his students.And he will not respond to emails.

If you want a babysitter he's the prof for you. Biased, ****, **** its a package deal with this guy. Not to mention that he doesn't know some of the material as he's not the lecturer just the classes handler. Wear sunglasses to class b/c he has hater vision

Some people don't like Mike because maybe he is just too practical and linear sometimes...which is one of the reasons why I like him. He is one of the smartest guy I have ever known. The way he explains math is very different from others and his explanations always surprised me. I wish he could teach all my math related courses.

Bednarz was a good teacher, gave good interesting examples too. But after every class he bolts out the door. He was our prog head but he went on a leave after a yr, I don't think he wanted to be prog head in the first place. He's pretty dorky, and he has a beautiful dog but it sheds in his office.
