Great guy, jokes around with students in lectures. Follow the criteria on the rubric and it can be an easy A. Really didnt read the book, if anything rent it from amazon, definitely dont buy. Show up and DONT BE LATE

Really not a bad professor, but some of his topics are really broad and he will shoot you down for topics you want to do. He gives you a lot of time in class to work on your speech and ask him questions about it. Truthfully, he is a good professor and his class is an easy A . DO not buy the book. He says you will have quizzes, but he never did.

I enjoyed having Professor Berry. I thought the class was easy, we had one quiz the entire semester, there was really never any homework, just 3 or 4 speeches. i did really well on all the speeches but if you are not good at public speaking and if you read off your script he will take off a lot of points.

Professor walked out of class on more than one day claiming lack of participation. He is quick to discredit an opposing opinion. Choose a different professor.

Our class was held during the most devisive election season ever. Although he couldn't nail the pacing of the course because of the election, we got a lot out of the course. In terms of the courseload, it seemed fair to me, but you MUST do the reading/research or else you will not understand the material.

He NEVER responds to your emails, bullies you in class, and honestly doesn't care to see his students pass. He was never helpful to me and it made this core class much harder than it had to be. Find yourself a professor that will actually be interested in you and not fall asleep during other peoples speeches!!

He really brought nothing beneficial to this class what so ever. I personally am a very good student and the highest grade I received on a speech was a B. Do yourself a favor and take a professor who is actually interested in what you have to say rather than this guy who falls asleep during your speech. I highly recommend not taking this course!!!

Professor Berry does not respond to emails, he is very rude and he thinks it's okay to pick on his students. He denies every single topic choice you throw at him. He's very rigid when it comes to grading, and he is just in general a very unpleasant person. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!!!!!

He is the worst teacher I have ever had. He is the most opinionated close minded person I have ever met. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!He lets you choose your topic for the speech but shoots every one of your ideas down. I am warning you don't take his class.

Hard Class with this guy, he does not use the textbook at all. Plays favorites even though he claims he doesn't. He lets you pick your topic for the speech, but then mostly denies it. EXTREMELY hard grader, you have to know exactly what you are talking about to get a great grade in his class.

Professor Berry, or as he told us to call him, Mike, was by far on of the easiest teachers i've ever had. He made the class go by some what quickly. A lot of speeches in the given time (about 7) but he made them fun and could always pick the topics ourselves. Graded VERY easy. Hardly used the book. Wish I could take him again! he's the best!
