Comment:

Prof. Berry is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He has some crazy rules and in a way may scare many students away. He has a tough attitude in the class room. It is important to make sure and use his office hours because without them you may be lost. But I never had a teacher challenge me so much to learn and master the material.

Mr. Berry was my math prof. years ago. He was one of the few professors who actually made his students learn. He didn't give grades out just because you came to class. I'm glad to hear that he still has teaching & learning standards. More of that is needed at the college and high school level.

This is easily the worst college professor I have ever met - but is the only time I have had a bad experience with a professor. Very petty and unfair with arbitrary rules and grading system. Unapproachable and condescending - even insulting in personal contact. Seems to be quite knowledgeable in the subject, but unclear and ineffective in teaching.

I had Berry for Calculus II, and I found him very demanding and harsh. He is *very* knowledgeable about the subject, but he's condescending and rude when you ask for help.

Prof. Berry is one of the best profs (and men) I've ever had the pleasure to meet! Is he easy? Not at all! Is he helpful? EXTREMELY!!! But...you have to take advantage of his office hours and actually go in there and grind out some problems with him. He expects only your best effort....and if you give it to him you will learn a lot!

Ive taken him for 100, 200, and 300 level. He is an okay teacher in lecture, but helpful 1-1. Although he can be favorable toward girls, if you work hard (and he sees u work hard), then you shouldnt have trouble. Now dont get me wrong, he isnt easy, but he isnt the worst professor. He is just okay

Everybody else needs to get their heads on straight - Berry is a great guy. He has a tough outside, but once you get to know him, he's very accessible. Sure, he grades hard, but that's what he does. Finally, he teaches his stuff very well.
