he is the worst professor i have ever had at HCC! he helps students who know wut they r doing by giving them the answer in the book and letting them finish the problem on their own...and students who dont know what they r doing have 2 figure it out on their own! i have a good grade in his class but i learned it all by my father this guy cant teach!

HATED THIS CLASS! I dropped it because I could NOT make it through it with Mr. failla teaching. He teaches slow, in a way that is difficult to understand, and he does not explain well. He made me feel rather dumb on several occasions. Do not take this class if you have trouble with math like I do!

EASY! Mr. Failla teaches in a way that makes the material understandable the first time he explains it. Who cares if some people think he is boring. What is important is having more free time away from books and studying so that you can enjoy whatever you feel like doing. His style made this class easy and he DOES have a great sense of humor.

If you're going to take this class, you should probably be comfortable with teaching yourself. This guy really knows his stuff, but he moves really fast and doesn't explain anything very well. Tests are great because they're all multiple choice. If you know how to use a graphing calculator, you're golden.

Started with introductory algebra and went through Calc II. This is by far the worst professor I have had in all those classes. He teaches to the stronger students and leaves those strugling to teach themselves. If you can avoid a class of his DO IT!

Calc II is hard, so get over it. He's an ok teacher and gave some extra time to finish tests. Doesn't collect h.w. unless you get below a B on tests. Ten problems on each test. As always, you have to practice to succeed.
