Great instructor in class, and great instructor in the plane! If you are working hard to learn, he will work harder to help you! Very professional, but has a fun side too. Glad that he has moved on to better planes, but sad to see an instructor like that go.

Mike really is an excellent teacher, he challenges students to try harder, his always number one attitude may get to you; which i still think hes not really serious about, regardless he treats all his students with respect and care, a true pilot at heart.

Teaches on performance and capabilities rather than by the book. Knows his stuff. Pushes you to excel to your limits. Excellent instructor. Very easy to talk to. Has a healthy competitive attitude. Treats you like a Pro pilot, with all the responsibilities and expectations given.
