Worst professor I have ever taken. Class is too hard to hard to take with this bad of a professor. Lectures are horrible, he stands there and talks but you never learn anything. You have to teach yourself the material. Tests are hard and hardly anyone passed them. The material is not clear and you never know what he is asking. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!

Worst Professor I have ever taken in my life. If you can, please do yourself a favor and do not take this man. His lectures are pointless, you basically have to teach yourself the entire course, ask him questions? you will never get an answer, and he is a very tough grader. I repeat DO NOT take him.

He is a very nice professor. His exams are not too bad if you follow his exam review that he gives out a few days before the exam. My only complaint is that sometimes his lectures are not all that great, but overall he is a nice guy who will help you if you ask him.

I like this class a lot. I think the key is to really listen and interact with him and his lectures in class, also read book or go to success center right when you need help. The professor is very approachable so he definitely can also help you after class too. I got an A with all my effort. I would recommend him.

This was one of the worst classes I have ever taken. I worked hard at this class and still received a low grade. There is too much material he covers over an entire semester. The final was cumulative which made it extremely difficult to study for the final. I would not recommend taking him.

I had him online. The class is an extension of Finite Math, I would recommend taking Finite right before taking QMFM. Do the homework he requests and you will see those same questions on the test. He is very helpful always offers his time if needed. He will curve the tests, you only have 2. No group things, but you can if you want.

Please DO NOT TAKE HIM, he is horrible at teaching, and extremely unorganized. He teaches pretty much nothing for the first hour, then rushes to finish lecture and ends up not showing you what you need to know for the assignments. He is very smart but not good at teaching and grades extremely hard. I killed myself studying and barely got a B-.

Not a bad class but definitely requires reading the book and keeping up with the material. Do the homework even though it isn't graded, as he will answer questions on it. Does examples in class and doesn't hold class all the time. Tests are reasonable as long as you study all the topics he puts on the review sheet. You have to work for your grade

I do not recommend this course online, you have to teach your self and textbook does not explain the material or the slides. Professor should be more available for tutoring for student. Test are tough even if you try your best or show your work you don't get points. I do not recommend this professor for online courses.

Just don't do it. Taught myself most of the material and that still was not enough. Made the worst grades I've ever made in his class. He answers questions with a question and does not even teach you anything. His textbook is just as confusing as his lectures are. Hardest class I have ever taken.

Comment:
Lectures confusing, unclear; asking questions annoys him; condescending attitude; harsh comments; 2 exams (difficult); comprehensive final (40% grade); textbook and PPP unhelpful; no publisher resources; no TA; not enough information to work group assignments. Unless you always get A's in math, beware as this class is unnecessarily complicated.

I took his class online and he is extremely organized. There are 2 tests, 4 excel assignments and approx. 8-10 set of quizzes (2 quizzes per chapter). He gives you plenty of time to learn the material, and then do the homework. The class comes with FREE software that makes doing the hmwk so much easier (you still have to learn to do a lot by hand).

This class was difficult for me in the beginning, until I started using the Excel QM feature he had us download. This makes it 90% easier because you don't have to work out all of the math yourself, Excel does most of it for you. Read the chapters and you should do fine on the tests and quizzes.

He puts a lot of effort into making sure his students understand the material. He doesn't waste time, he does go over the homework problems that students have questions on. If you don't do the homework, you will struggle in this class. DO THE HW! He's a great professor!

Wasted a lot of class time and waits till the last minute to start teaching. Usually ends up rushing and running out of time and you're left to figure it out on your own. Do not take this prof.

Reads power pts to class instead of teaching. Seems confused while teaching then tries to play it off when he's wrong. I taught myself most material from power pts, old stats, finite and college alg notes. MC questions on exam very difficult unless you have an old version of the test. Over all, RMP fooled me. Terrible prof.

I loved his online class. Very knowledgeable professor that is willing to help his students and break down concepts they may have trouble with. The everyday applications of this course and the examples the book gives are great. Would definitely take him again.

The subject matter was tough, but he taught it well. You can get through the class with just his lectures, but the homework and book readings clarify things just right. Excellent professor.
